There is an option for an extra fee to have another ladder on the front of the bed. The ladder is made of logs and hooks onto the top rail. The ladder protrudes about 1 foot at the bottom. It can be located at the head or foot of the bed (see Twin over Double photo).
Note: On Twin over Queen bunk you should order a TwinXL mattress (Regular Twin will fit as well with a small space). We recommend you go with 8" high mattresses on both top and bottom. Height from floor to top bunk slats is 50".
